Ever wondered how some Property Developers bring projects in on budget and increase equity in a development in order to increase their funds for scaling their business. We attempt to show you with some of the measures that we use, including:-
- Benchmarking – We share our costings that we use when assessing a project. Our plasterers will normally plaster a room in a day and a half costing us around £420 per standard room. When comparing to a decorator, sanding, filling and then painting we are normally up around the £765 per room mark before even painting.
- KPI Data
- Cost cutting measures – we look at various cost saving measures and drill down into the figures that we have found. For example one of our decorators (day rate £150 per day) can normally SPRAY Paint a whole 3 bedroom house in a day compared to 2 decorators painting the same house in 3 weeks. (£300 x 15 days = £4,500). We normally save around £4,350 per property.
